The more generous dimensions of this Exped bivvy also mean most people can fit a full hiking pack in the bag as well. With a durable floor, bug mesh at the opening and a weather tight entry, the Bivybag VentAir – PU will give you room to move.
The benefit of the over some of the other breathable membranes that get used in bivybags is that it tends to breath better at lower altitudes with more humidity. This makes this bivy a good choice for bushwalkers as well as alpine climbers.
