Exped have long been the benchmark for making the lightest camping mats with the most insulation. Now with their new range they’ve even increased durability and are made from completely recycled shells as well as being a completely carbon neutral product. 

 

The Exped Ultra 5R Medium Mummy shaped sleeping mat is built for the cold, down to -20ºC in fact. But at only 445 grams and a tiny pack size, it’s suitable for any fast and light adventure even in summer as you can’t really have a mat that is ever too warm. This mat has been a favourite among staff and has been tested to its limits with great success.
